As a busy working mom, I know firsthand the lure of the drive-thru: it's becoming more and more difficult for today's families to find the time to cook healthy meals at home, and sometimes less time cooking means more time to spend relaxing as a family, preparing for tomorrow, or even just unwinding from a stressful day. Unfortunately, most fast-food offerings may save time, but there is a trade-off: fast food can be quite unhealthy, and eating out can be expensive. This Monday, if you are a frequent drive-thru patron, we encourage you to try a few new recipes that are quick as well as healthy, or find a few 'in case of emergency' healthy fast food choices so you can save money and safeguard your health without sacrificing too much of your valuable time.
