From Amanda Rock, your About Parenting Editor
To say I was not an athlete growing up is an understatement. I preferred the library and books over fields and balls. So to be the mom to three kids who play six sports between them, can be a bit overwhelming (and confusing) most of the time.

Questions to Ask Before Joining a Sports League
When I was a kid, there were just a couple of options if you wanted to play sports. If you were young, you played on the town team. Once you hit junior high, you played on the school team. Share Your Experiences with Youth Sports
I find the best way to learn about something I don't know is to ask other parents who have been there before. Susan is hosting a great discussion with grandparents and parents who are sharing their experiences with youth sports. Post your story and read what other folks who have been there have to say.
