There is also a cultural taboo common throughout the Arab world that bicycles threaten a woman's honour, so I felt like it was an interesting symbol of the challenges facing women in my country. I felt like most Western audiences have their own ideas and concepts about women in Saudi but don't know much about the day-to-day life of women in the Kingdom.
