Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun has been suspended for the remainder of the 2013 season without pay by Major League Baseball for violations of the Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. MLB announced the suspension on Monday and Braun issued a brief statement, apologizing for unspecified "mistakes." The Brewers have 65 games remaining on their regular-season schedule.
