French police confirm that a thief made off with Chopard jewelry from the safe of a Hotel Novotel Cannes room on Thursday night. The hotel room belonged to a Chopard employee, and the jewels were set to be worn by stars walking the festival red carpets. Seriously, they should make a movie about this.
